It was a very good game, impossible to be any closer. At no time during
the 9 innings was the score more than two runs difference. The lead
changed five times. After 8 innings, the score was tied at 18. At the top
of the ninth, the Legion scored two. The bottom half, Nats had two in,
bases loaded with two out. Tom Kniery hit a hard line drive, I mean a
HARD line drive, to Brother Ralph Boswell who made a great catch to
end the game at 22 each. I think the catch actually woke Ralph up!!!! A
great inning to end a great game and great sportsmanship on both
sides.
