DUKES vs LEGION

The DUKES and the LEGION squared off for a game that had huge implications for both teams.
In the first inning, the DUKES scored 3 runs, while the LEGION could only muster 1 run. In the
2nd, the Dukes went without a run and the Legion scored 3 runs, putting them ahead by 1 run.
The Dukes did not score in the 3rd or 4th inning, while Legion scored 1 in the 3rd and zero in
the 4th. The Dukes finally put things together, scoring 5 runs in the 5th, and zero for Legion.
The Dukes continued their scoring in the 6th with 5 more runs and Legion could only put up
3 runs in that same inning. Both teams went zero's for the 7th inning. In the 8th, the Dukes
scored 4 runs and the Legion could only get 3 runs. The score starting the 9th inning was
Dukes 17, Legion 11. The Dukes went scoreless in the 9th inning. However, the Legion also
went scoreless in the 9th inning. FINAL SCORE: DUKES 17, LEGION 11.
