A very good game today was enjoyed by Sammy Lopez' Yankees and the Coconuts. Sammy's team won in last inning.
Final score was Lopez team 21 and Coconuts 18.
Good hitting for the Lopez team was: Jose Rivera, Fred Stevens, Dale Johnson, Tom Benson and Sammy Lopez. All hit 3 out of 4 at bats. Cindy Forrest had a key hit and played excellent as catcher. Jose Rivera made a great game changing catch while playing second base.
Hitting well for the Coconuts were: B.J. Kallister, Joe LeTourneau, Bob Ayers, Tim Gallagher, Julian Puma, and Kathy McDonald. These players all hit 3 out of 4 at bats. Bob Zelazny had two good hits including a home run.
Sammy did an exceptional job of managing by having all batters ready on deck or in the hole.
