The game between Yankees vs Dukes was played on sunny field C. Both had lots of hits, a few errors and the sun was a factor.
The Yankees bult a 13 -7 lead after five before the Dukes started their come back scoring 4 in the bottom of the 6th to close the gap to 13 - 11 Yankees.
Not to be out done the Yankee added 4 of their own in the top of the 7th to extent their lead to 17-11. The Dukes playing catch up scored six and tied the game at 17 in the bottom of the inning.
After holding the Yankees scoreless the Dukes scored 5 in the 8th to take the lead 22 -17 going into the 9th
It was the Yankees coming back this time scoring four runs coming up just one run short . Final score 22 -21 Dukes for their first win of the season.
