A good game was played today between Don Ouding's Old Timers and The Fighting Coconuts. The Old Timers started strong with 5 runs in the 1st inning versus 1 run for the Coconuts. Neither team could score in the 2nd inning. Finally the Coconuts scored good runs in the 3rd, 4th and 5th innings. Both teams had good hits and in the end it was a matter of stringing hits together.
Final score was 22 for the Coconuts and 6 for the Old Timers.
We gathered for prayer after the game and remembered Bill Bowley and Melanie Hite who have health issues. Bob Zelazny led the prayer and attendance was strong.
