Winter Haven Senior Softball

 The American League opened up the 2023 season sporting new uniforms, purple and gold shirts, and new charcoal gray hats.

 Team purple led by JD Davis came out hitting scoring every inning until the 5^th. Team Gold Led by “Sweet Lou” did everything they could to keep up. With HRs by Dave Doerbaum and Eddie Hurn the team was still behind until the bottom of the 9^th when slugger Dave Doerbaum hit a 3-run homer to win in a walk-off 18-19 win for team Gold. What a game!

 This Thursday the American League will travel to Solivita for a two-game match up.

 We will only hit on Friday due to 60+ FHC Tournament.

 After the game we had KFC thanks to the League and Tinsley Family of Companies.
