National League Field D

Today's game on field D pitted the Pirates vs the Marlins.  The Pirates were the visitors and led the game from beginning to end.  The Marlins  were the home team and agreed to a flip flop in the eighth and ninth innings.  

The final tally was 21-12.  

The leading hitters  for the Pirates:

• Miller 3-5, 
• Ducham 4-5, 
• Gusypt 5-5 2HR,  
• Mahon 4-5 2B, 2-3 BB, 
• Torres 3-4, 
• Holley 4-4.  

Leading  batters for the Marlins: 

• D. Hill 4-5 HR, 
• Marino 3-5, 
• Simon 3-5, 
• Grabb 3-4 2B,  
• G. Sequin 3-4 BB, 
• L. Baker 2-4.  

Witter was the WP.  

Both teams felt fortunate that their field was playable after yesterdays rain.
