National League Field B

Elmer Black's team were the visitors and started the game with no runs in the first inning. Larry Powell's team got off to good start by scoring 4 runs in the first inning with Bill McLellan hitting a double to knock in two of the runs.
Black's team got hot in the third and fourth innings scoring 5 runs each with Nic Burns having the big hit each inning. The score after four innings was tied at 12-12.

Black's team scored runs every inning except the first. Powell's team scored in every inning except the second.
Russ King had two home runs and also Bill McLellan. Milo Macko had a home run and a triple to help keep the game close until the end.

Nic Burns was 6-6 with one double and Elmer Black led his team by going 6-6.

Final score was Powell's Team 29--Black's Team 25.

Elmer took a bad hop up the middle that bounced off his arm and chin. He stayed in the game even though he was banged up (he is one tough ballplayer)
