Today, February 9th, the Dukes hosted Wally's World on Field D. The Wally's jumped out to a 3-run lead in the top of the 1st inning, on hits by Scott Seguin , Jorge and Mel Rathburn that followed Bill Testa's first of four hits.
The Dukes answered with 5 runs and added 5 more in the second. Their key hits were a Jose Liberato triple and the first of Ric Holloway's four singles.
The Wally's made it a two-run game in the 3rd with a 5 spot 10-8. Their big hits were provided by George Vanderhyde, Alan Miller, and Pablo Garcia. The Dukes add 4 runs in the bottom of the 3rd.
At this point the Wally's bats cooled and the Dukes continued to score and won the game.
