American League Update
Today, the American League teams faced off on Field B. After a close loss last week, Tommy's Green Team was eager for redemption. Lou's Blue Team, donning their home jerseys, were missing some key players but were prepared for the challenge.
In the first inning, the Blue Team set the tone for the game by holding the Green Team to no runs while scoring five runs themselves. However, the Green Team was not ready to give up easily. They managed to score four runs while the Blue Team only scored three. The competition intensified as the Blue Team scored five more times in the following four innings, never looking back. Both teams displayed exceptional defense throughout the game.
The final score was Green Team 20, Blue Team 26. It was a fun and competitive game with outstanding fielding by both teams.
Notable hits: Patrick Sullivan hit an over the fence homerun and Bill Maxwell scored a little league home- run.
