Another slugfest between two good hitting teams, the Flyers managed by Fabian, and the Legion managed by O'Callaghan. In all, a total of 69 hits; 32 by the Flyers including 5 HRs and 37 hits for the Legion.
Homers by the Flyers: Hite, Essenmacher, Benson and a pair by Vanderhyde, Not to forget JoAnn who had a perfect day, going 4 for 4 and a walk and a super catch of a hard hit liner to her at 2B.
Nothing special about the Legion's hitting. The difference, leaving fewer runners on base than the Flyers.
Oh yes, the final score was Flyers 23, Legion 27.
The Flyers are a good hitting team; they deserve to have a better won/loss record than indicated.

he game was close throughout even with many runs by each team until the 9th when Legions were ahead by 8. The Flyers gave it all in the bottom half scoring 4 runs but coming up short 27-23 in favour of the Legion.

Special thanks to a good umpiring job by Don Ing, who by the way has returned home to Windsor. Now I can start working on getting my liver back to normal, whatever that is.
Once again, good game and NO ARGUMENTS.
