Today two teams, Larry Strait's Braves and Michael O'Callaghan's Post 8 Legion met. When these two teams were drafted, they looked fairly even on paper. O'Callaghan had his full 13 players. Strait was missing 4 of his top players, Bill McLellan, heart attack as well as Gerry Witter. Also missing Bill Ayer with dehydration and Ray Levesque.
To add to the Braves' problems, they probably had their worst outing against the Legion's by far best outing.
The final score, it does not matter as all players had fun.
Winning pitcher: Larry Wells
