Great news for Winter Haven Senior Softball. We have ballfields to play on from February 25th to March 20th. We will be playing at the Poinciana Community Park in Poinciana. The address for the ball fields is 5109 Allegheny Road, Poinciana, FL 34759. Below is a link to a map that shows the ballfields. The fields are on the northwest corner of Marigold Avenue and Lake Hatchineha Road. If you google the address, you will find it is easy to get there from Winter Haven and the surrounding communities east of Winter Haven. For the players that live west of Winter Haven, the drive will be a little longer.
The games will begin at 9:30 AM. Be at the ballpark no later than 9:00 AM. I would like for us to continue league play. However, if we do not get enough team members to travel to Poinciana, we may do pickup games. That decision can not be made until Tuesday, Feb. 25th. I will have team schedules made this weekend just in case we have team games. There are four fields. Field assignments will be based on the number of teams each day. We will need to finish our games by 11:30 AM so we can be out of the park no later than 12:00 PM.
