Legion, vs Dukes, vs Cobras
O’Callaghan’s Legion started the game scoring 2 runs in the 1st inning. Next up was Hill’s Dukes scoring 1 run. Capozzi’s Cobras followed scoring 3 runs to end inning number 1. In the 2nd & 3rd innings the Legion scored 1 & 2 runs respectively. The Cobras scored 5 runs in the 3rd, leaving the Dukes trailing. Score: Legion 5, Dukes,1, Cobras, 8. The 4th & 5th innings were strong for the Dukes scoring 4 & 5 runs respectively. The Cobras came back with 3 runs, Score: Legion, 5, Dukes, 10, Cobras, 11. In the 6th inning the Dukes evened the score with the Cobras & the Legion added 1, making it Legion, 6, Dukes, 11, Cobras, 11. In the Last inning, 7, (open inning), the Legion struggled to add 2 more runs to their score, finishing with 8 runs The Dukes came back and slammed 7 runs and the Cobras responded with 4 runs. Final score: Dukes, 18, Cobras, 15, Legion, 8.
