Friday, January 10th
This game started out 2-0 in favor of Fabian's Flyers over DeRidders Derailers (l love the name) after 1. The DeRailers put up 4 in the top of 2 but the Flyers came back with 3 and never looked back after that. The DeRailers did get another 4 in the 7th and some single runs along the way to make the final 22-12. The Flyers put up nickels in both the 4th and 8th. Gotta love those nickels.
I must commend the 2 girls shoring up the right side of the Flyers infield. Gisele Seguin at first and Joann Westerman at second. They are fantastic.
The DeRailers did have 3 important players absent today with several players playing out of position on defense and yet put up a good ball game.

Fabian's hitters. Westerman 3-5. Coffman 5-5. Vanderhyde 3-5. Essenmacher 3-5. B.J. Kallister 2-5 WITH 3B. Benson 3-5. Hunter 2-5. Hite 3-5. Seguin 3-5. 89 year old JIMMY MCPARTLAN 2-4 with 2 shots down right field line. Gibson 2-4. Fabian 3-4.
I'd like to ask all players check the score book once or twice during the game to make sure your at bats were recorded right so managers can do accurate write ups. Many times it is not written how you got on base. Thanx.
