Coconuts vs Legion 2/4/2022 Field "D"
The Fighting Coconuts vs Legion was a game full of ups and downs.
The Coconuts, being the visiting team, took the field and scored 3
runs in the 1st inning. This was followed by Legion, who scored five
runs. For the 2nd, the Coconuts scored 4, unanswered by Legion.
In the 3rd, the Coconuts chalked up 1 run. However, the
Legion scored 4 in the 3rd. The Coconuts answered back with 1 run
in the 4th inning. The Legion answered back with 5 runs in the 4th.
The Coconuts did not score in the 5th and 6th inning. Legion put up
3 runs in the 5th and 5 in the 6th inning. From this point, things got
dicey for both teams. The Coconuts did score one run in the 7th,
8 runs in the 8th and 6 runs in the 9th inning. The Legion did score
2 runs in the 7th, and 5 in the 8th. The Legion won by a score of
29 - 24. Both teams were worn and tired, but never stopped fighting.
