Today the two top teams met for the 3rd.time and the outcome was the same as the 1st two meeting, all won by the Dukes. All close games that could of gone the other way, but didn't. I mentioned after the 1st meeting that the Dukes were the class of 2022 and they confirmed it, great team managed by Steve Hill.
The Dukes scored 4 in the 1st and kept on scoring to lead 13-2 into the middle of the 4th.The Nationals fought back by scoring 8 runs in their last 4 at bats, while holding the Dukes scoreless in their last 3 at bats in a shortened 7 inning game, resulting in a 13-10 final. Two great catches by the Dukes outfielder, Brad Swenson.
