A wind-swept Field B found the Yankees on top at the end of nine by a score of 29-26. The Mets scored only 8 runs in their first game last Friday but found good bats coming alive but still fell short not scoring any runs in the 7th or 8th.
All 24 players on both teams put up at least two hits. Orville Waddell racked up the win and is scheduled to receive a bonus from the Yankee organization in the thousands of dollars.
Congratulations to both teams for showing good sportsmanship and recognizing the other team is made up of good players doing the very best that they can do.
