After one the score was 3 to 2 favor the visitors.

After holding the visitors scoreless in the second the home team took the lead with two runs on base hits from Altemose, Fryzowicz, Peske and Thompson. With the temperature rising so were bat getting hot.  Herb started in inning with the second of 6 straight his in this game.  Accetta and Shaffer followed with base raps and McLellan blasted another double then Schapeler drove in two runs. Strait’s Braves lead off batter Marino let off with a liner down the left field line for a double and kept running on a throwing error with blazing speed and cross the plate with the first run of the inning.  Burtner tripled and Hite singled him home with a base hit, LeTourneau and Kriger singled in the 3rd run of the inning.  Game tied at 7.  Both teams added 4 runs in the 4th.  Visitors were held scoreless again in the 5th while Home team added 3 to take the lead 14 to 11.  The 6th saw the visitors adding 4 more runs to take the lead but the Strait guys posted 5 to regain the lead by a run.  With the score now 19 to 15 for the home team and both teams not scoring in the 7th or the 8th inning we come to the ninth.  In the top of the 9th and the heart of the lineup coming to bat the visitors 6 hits out of 7 hitters and produced 5 runs before the final out.  Home team had two hits and some hard hit balls, but to no avail.  Final Score 20 to 19 for the visitors.
