As we gear up for the league, all managers including myself need to get ready to do the write ups. So here we go. The game on field D between Strait's Sluggers and Fabian's Flyers was about the best defensive played game I have ever seen. Final was 13-3
Flyers, but if not for a 4 run inning in the 5th and a nickel in the 8th it would have been 4-3. Wow. And the big innings were not because of errors.
There were many fine defensive plays made by both sides as indicated by the score. Defensive plays to mention were made by Capozzi who was also 4-4, Spitaleri, Dudley. Also, Herb O., McLellan, Leveque ,Fabian, Waddell and the catch of the day by Larry
Chrest in left field for the Flyers.
