Great defensive plays by the Warriors Bill Ayer and Robert Spitaleri for the Nats, two good catches in the outfield by Herb O. Also good pitching by Powell and B J. B J putting down the last 12 hitters in order for the win. Good job B J.

Sorry Mr. Commish, you gave us managers guide lines for writing up these reports. One rule was do not report any errors, report only good thinks that happen. Well i have to report one big error and it was committed by me, and i wasn't even playing. It was the bottom of the 9th. score tied two men out , nobody on base and Bill McLellan at bat. i called him over to the fence where his wife was sitting, holding their little white dog. I told him that if he hit a walk off homer, i would kiss his dog. Big error on my part, he hit one to the base on the outfield fence for the game winner. i walked out to 3rd. base and being a man of my word, I kissed his dog as he held it up to my face, pictures were taken and I'm sure my friends will make sure it gets to our web site.
