Hamilton's Tigers faced off against Freddy's Angels resulting in another well played and exciting game by both teams. The Angels jumped to a 13-7 lead after 4 innings. However, Hammer's boys responded with 18 runs while Freddy's boys could only come up with 9 runs falling short by 3. Final score Tigers 25 Angels 22. The game provided plenty of hitting from both teams and many fine defensive plays. It seems that every game results in the good hits and plays and some luck. Well played game by both teams and good sportsmanship by all. On a more serious note, our commissioner, Donnie Witmer took a nasty bad hop grounder directly to the mouth and nose. I talked to him later in the day and other than a couple cuts inside his mouth and some swelling, he is all right. On the lighter side, his mouth was shut and he didn't lose any teeth and the league didn't lose a new ball!!!!!! Great game guys!
