Friday, March 10th
On Field D, JD's KFC ALL STARS faced off against Freddie's Angels. The KFC boys came out hitting with 8 runs scored in the first two innings. It was the sixth inning before the Angels could recover and take the lead. The Angels lost the lead in the seventh but regained the lead in the eight and held on in the ninth to win the game. Final Score: Angels 18 KFC 15.
Leading Hitters for the Angels: Dan Reponen 5/5, Don Witmer 4/4, Dave Shipley, Mike Wiltshire and Tim Thiry were 4/5, Felix Navarro and Morty Ogden were 3/4 and a new player to WHSS, Glen LePinnet was 3/5.
Leading Hitters For KFC: Don Keller 5/5, Scott Seguin and Jose Vallecillo were 3/4, Rad Pcholinski and Vidal Villaba were 3/5.
