Friday, March 3rd
On Field A, The Giants(Bloom) and The Braves(Powell), played a close game right to the last inning.
The Braves  scored 5 runs in the first inning to take the lead. The Giants tied the game in the third inning at 6-6. The Braves took the lead again in the next three innings . The Giants tied the game in the top of the sixth inning, but the Braves scored 5 runs in the bottom to retake the lead. The Giants had one more chance in the seventh inning but were held to no runs. Final score was 18-13. The Braves have now won seven games in a row to climb out of the cellar.
Hitters for the Giants. Kriger -3-4, Herbie O--3-4, one double, Bess-2-3 , one walk, Bill McLellan-3-4, one double.
Hitters for The Braves: Duff Hill -4-4, 2 doubles, Fred Dampier-4-4, 3 doubles, Larry Powell-4-4.
