Friday, March 10th 
Powell's Braves continued its winning streak by beating the Number one team-Black's Nationals.
The Braves scored in every inning except the sixth inning. The Nationals only scored in 4 innings. The Braves scored 4 in the  first inning to take the lead.
The Nationals were never able to catch up. Final score was 20-8.
Hitters for the Nationals were : Ray Roy 1-2 , 3 walks, Bill Rutan 3-4,1 double,
Sam Lopez 2-3, Don Hawbaker 4-4, Reggie Barnes 3-4.
Hitters for the Braves were: Juan Castillo 4-5, one double, Gary Burtner 5-5,one double, Fred Dampier 5-5, one triple, one double,Robert Spitaleri 4-5, one double,
Ray Levesque 5-5, two home runs, one double.
Larry Powell was the winning pitcher.
The Braves have now won ten games in a row. Next Tuesday they have the opportunity to make it eleven games in a row and tie for second place after starting the season in last place.
