Tuesday, February 28th
The temperature was hot on this last day of February and so were the bats of Freddie's Angels as they took on Toro's Yankees on Field C. Every batter on the Angels hit at least .500 and the team average was over .650 for the day. In addition to hot bats, the Angels had a hot defense as they held Toro's great hitting Yankee's to just 12 runs. Felix Navarro returned to the team today (slightly injured) and pitched a great game. Thanks to Don Torok and Randy Luttrell for helping the Angels win the game today. Final Score Angels 17 and Yankees 12.
