It was a fantastic opening day for WHSS except for Fabian's Flyers who took it on the chin 16-5 from rookie manager Tom Capozzi's Cobras. It would have been worse had Frank Jacobs not whacked a HR with 2 outs in the flip flop inning.
For the Flyers, they just didn't have their hitting shoes on today. Boswell 2-4, Jacobs 2-4 HR, Travis F 3-3.
Cobra hitters. Cheesy 2-4. Dampier 2-4. DeRidder 3-4. Thompson 2-4. Weber 2-4. Castilleja 3-4. Accetta 3-4. Spegel 2-4. BJ 2-4.
