The first game between Gonzales Angels and Hamilton's Tigers was a relatively low scoring game with the  Tigers scoring 10 runs in the first 3 innings while Miguel Gonzales shut out the Angels innings 2 thru 5 resulting in a 14-8 Tigers victory.  There were several nice defensive plays by both teams. Big hit was a bases loaded triple by Don Torok  and Les Jacobson had 4 RBI's.

Game 2 the bats heated up for both teams with the Angels posting 5 runs in 3 innings and the Tigers 5 and 4 runs in 4 of the innings. The game went back and forth with the Tigers shutting out the Angels the last 2 innings holding on for a 23-16 win.  Lots of hitting with a monster home run from Dave Shipley in the 5 inning. Big hit for Tigers was a bases loaded triple by Angel Farinas in the 6 inning.
