A battle between two good teams took place with lots of hitting (66 in all),errors, and bickering
between The Flyers and the Nationals. Flyers isn't that a hockey team? We the nationals should
be the hockey team for two reasons . One we played like a hockey team !!!, two we have six Canadians on our team. As a matter of fact we have one player from a small town by a river in Nova Scotia, and the story that I was told is one day he was playing hockey and got a breakaway and he skated and skated and finally ended up at the ball park where play. Go figure EH.
The game: The Nationals lead every inning except the ninth the most important one. The Flyers (flew) get that with 9 runs in the 8th. and added 6 more in the 9th. The best the Nats could do was 0 in the 8th. and 2 in the ninth. Final score Flyers 26, Nats 22 To the Flyers, good show, you deserve to win.

OK Nats, pack your bags as starting Friday we will be going on a 5 game road trip.
Dress code blue shirts, and we will be staying at the first base dugout hotel (only 2 stars)
