Friday, January 20th
The teams were ready for action and the men wanted to 'play ball' and so it was. During the first 4 innings the slugging began and at the end of the 4th Angels 11 Yanks 13. By the 7th Angels took the lead at 17 to 16 but the Yanks roared back in the 8th with 5 and added two more in the 9th totaling 23. The Angels could only produce 2 with 2 out and and two on base Juan Toro made a diving catch to end the game. If only he had not caught it who knows if the Angels would get inspired and who knows what might have happen. Great game guys. Mike Elmer was hurt and had to leave the game.
