National League game
on field B. Dec 2, 2014
The weather was
bright and sunny when we started. Soon
clouds started forming. We had 33 of the
Old guys there so a 3 team game was set up.
By the time the managers lined up their rosters the game started a little
late. Play ball was called by the ump
and the game started. Yours truly
offered to keep score for all three teams.
Manager Bloom of the
Hit team lined up like this: Guspyt, F.
Miller, King, Marino, Michalski, Thompson, Ducham, Straght, L. Baker, Holden and
Bloom.
Manager Simon team
were in this order: D. Hill, Burns,
Simon, Remington, Zakrowski, Moots, Powell, Burley, Merritt, Waddell, Bess, and
J Smith.
Manager Welton’s
team was lined up in this order:
Scarbrough, McLellan, Crowe, Sergio, Taylor, Witter, Welton, McPartlan,
Leggett, Shaffer, M. Mohan, and Yarletts.
All the planning of
lineups and game plans went for nought.
After 3 innings the game was called because of rain. That’s Softball Folks. See you all Friday for another day of playing
the game we love to play.
