Tuesday's game on field B mixed a few national leaguers with a majority of American league players. The, visitors managed by J.D. inc. Gazarek, Toro, Deridder, Raul, Shaffer, Andrews, F. Miller, B. Mohan, Kline, Vandenberg and Fabian. The home team was managed by , Simon and inc. Herbie 'O', Jacobson, Chuck Duff, Wiltshire, Marino,Torres, Hartley, Lopiccolo, Hawbaker and Leggett. Both teams scored 4 runs in the first frame and featured Home Runs by Duff and Wiltshire for the home team. The visitors scored one in the second. In the third inning the visitors scored twice to take a three run lead only to see the home team answer with a four run spurt in the bottom of the third. The home team lead by one run 8-7 after three innings. In the fourth the visitors bats came alive with a 5 run outburst keyed by a 2B by Vandenberg. The visitors bats went silent and they failed to put up a score in the next three innings. The home team scored 5 in the fifth and added two more in the sixth. After six innings the score was 16-12 favor of the home team. In the eighth the visitors scored 4 runs powered by a Toro round tripper. The home team scored 2 runs in the eighth. the final talwas 17-14 in favor of the home team. Lopicolo was the WP. Leading hitters for the visitors: Eddie G 3-5, Toro 4-5 HR, Deridder 3-5, F. Miller 5-5, and leading hitters for the Home Team inc. Herbie 'O' 4-5 3B, Simon 4-5, Jacobson 4-5 HR, Duff 4-4 HR, 3B,BB, Wiltshire 4-5 2HR. This was a close game and both teams held several leads during the contest. The game ended with a Richie Marino running grab in right field to seal the victory for the home squad.
