That's some cold batters

 
A real GREAT come from behind win was posted by team Leggett as they  SCORED 9 of their runs in the 8th & 9th to edge team Sessink 15-14.  A temporary wild streak was posted by Dick Sessink in the 8th when he walked three out of four batters bringing the team just four down with one to go. Team Sessink brought six batters to the plate in the 9th but did not score.  This set the scene for a dramatic win.

The wildness continued into the bottom of 9 .  With one out and men on first & second Walt Leggett hit a sharp shot to second which might have ended the game with a double play but all runners were safe setting the opportunity for Duff Hill to be a hero.  He delivered a single to left scoring the tying & winning runs.

The stats showed that there were more walks and errors than hits but Vassurl Bess was able to post a perfect day with 4-4 and a walk.  Wayne Mundy was the only other player for team Leggett posting three hits.

Team Sessink was led by Bill Ravo who went 4-5.  Ron Thompson, Elmer Black & Richie Moots all posted three hits.
