The National league had a closely contested game with Team Thompson besting team Mills 15-10 with the game being determined in the sixth with four runs coming across for the home team and the visitors being blanked. Byrd, Chamblee and Zelazny all had four hits, including a homer by Bob, for the winners.
The second place team was led by Kline and Moots who both had three hits and a walk. It was good to see Mike Stepp show some of his former speed when he legged out a four bagger , hit to the fence, in the 3rd inning.
Joel Freedman was a volunteer umpire for us today. Thanks for your help, Joel.
