What is it about the “Colonel’s” special recipe that makes you come back for more. Well after last week’s hard fought victory over KFC , the Yankees were in the mood for seconds & even desert ! The first two innings were scoreless but then the Yankees partook in the family feast 🍗, with 15 runs in the next three innings to take a commanding 15-4 lead after inning # five. They were gobbling up dinner 🥘 and tacked on 5 more for desert 🍰 in the seventh, to increase the lead to 20-4 . It was the Eddie Hurn show as he hit 2 massive home runs & a double to lead the attack. Not to be outdone, JD Davis hit an HR himself, exhibiting sprinter like speed with an inside-the-park version that electrified the crowd ! KFC scored 4 more runs in the eighth inning but fell short in the final tally. Final score 20-8. Mike Cobb was a beast ( or you might say, a Corn 🌽 on the Cobb ), with 4 hits himself.
