The Yankees clinched the A.L. Title today, with timely hitting & solid pitching and defense . Co-Managers , Guzzo & Jacobson were analytical in their draft room preparation and the hard work paid off with consistent play on the field . The Tigers, A’s, and , KFC’s were fighters throughout the season, but the injuries were too much to overcome. But , their focused competitive spirit was second to none. Congratulations to all our “brothers”, who make our league a true blessing !
️Today the Yankees & Tigers were squared at 5 runs apiece through the second inning .
The Yankees led 16-12 after the fifth . Guzman, Hurn, & Book were supplying the punch . Hamilton, Held, & D’Herin were responding in like fashion. A big 3 run sixth inning sealed the deal for the Yankees, as they closed the game with a 20-14 victory. Guzman-Jacobson-Book & Murphy-Knox-Pinnick were late inning offensive heroes.
