Nice swing Elvis!

The first play date of November was a sunny, warm day, with Team Ridley blowing out team  Mills 29-16.  Even though team Mills posted 21 hits, their opponents pounded out 38 safe hits posting their win.  The game started out looking like a pitchers duel with the score being 3-3 at the end of two.  Several players hitting from the left side were unable to see the ball until as late as he 4th inning because of the sun angle.
At game time we found that the starting pitcher could not be found so Eddie Klein stepped in and faced the first batter until Mills strolled in to snatch the ball from  Klein and banished him to the American Lg. field. According to Mills, since that runner scored , Klein was the loosing pitcher even though his team was leading 3-2 after that first inning.  After further discussion Mills confirmed that in his mind someone,(anyone) other than himself was in fact the loosing pitcher. At the time of this writing a brief was being prepared for the  county court to review.
Team Mills had Barnes,Stepp and Chrest all post four hits but Chrest added a walk and just spaced his hits perfectly with a single, double, triple and a home run.  That is one great performance !!!!!!!!!!
CONGRATULATIONS  LARRY.
Larry's all smiles after hitting for the cycle
Team Ridley had Frank Miller continue his torrid hitting with 5-5. He was followed by Abney, Thompson, Wilson, and Merritt getting four hits each.  Moots, Ridley, Bess, and McPartlan chipped in three hits in the winning effort.
