King's Krushers crushed Fabian's Flyers 19-10 although the Flyers were within striking distance most of the time. Again they couldn't get the RBI hits. I'll do the hitters, then gotta do an airport run.
Gonzalez 3-5. King 4-5. Matte 3-5. LaPointe 3-4. Remington 4-4 for Kings
Guspyt 3-4. Boswell 3-4. Constantine 3-4. Lloyd 3-4 for Fabe's.
Also Ed Guspyt called and said he is retiring due to physical ailments. We had a long talk and wish him the best throwing hay bales on his farm in Ohio. He enjoyed 12 very fun years in WHSS and shared the story of the first game he played here. He was
just driving by the Diamondplex and saw a ball game going on, stopped to watch and got recruited to play as they were a player short. He had no glove, no bat and no shoes but did play and actually made a one handed, barehanded willie mays catch in the outfield.
Thus ends a 12 year career from WHSS. Good luck Ed.
