This game started out slow with Zelazny's team ahead 5-2 after 4 innings. Z's boys outscored Nick's guys 13 to 4 the final 5 innings to win 18-6. This game had some nice displays of hitting. Les Jacobson hit for the cycle by outrunning the relays on a long blast over the right fielders head for the homerun he needed to complete the cycle. It should be noted that as Les rounded third he desparately could have used some sort of CYCLE to complete his journey. Nice game Les. There were some other excellent hitting efforts including Slash Matta going 4-4, Bob Reagen with an inside the park homerun, Greg Denny was 4-4, and Joe D'Herin was 5-5. Thanks to the National League guys who helped fill the rosters in this game.
