Santa Calling
On December 10 members of
the Winter Haven Softball League gave the City of Winter Haven a hand by
playing Santa. Don LaMay, Don Keller,
Joe D’Herin, Tom Hamilton, Al Andrews and wife, Roxanne, Richie Moots and wife,
Judy and Bob Hite. The Santa’s were
given a script, that help with talking points and a list of kids to call. The kids received a call from an elf manning
the North Pole phone exchange and were connected to Santa. This reporter is not sure who had the most
fun, the kids or the Santa’s. I for one
had a blast and got to know my calling partner, Don LaMay, a lot better.
