2023 BEGINS TUESDAY, JANUARY 3.
We will kick off the 2023 season on Tuesday, Jan 3, 2023. KFC will be providing lunch around 11:30 AM. Drinks and cookies will be provided by the Board of Directors. This is a family event so bring your significant other with you to the ball game. We will have a special guest of honor this year. Don Lamay is retiring from WHSS after 25+ years of playing softball with us. He will be at the ballpark on Tuesday. Please take the time to speak to Don and let him know how much he will be missed.
The 2023 Schedule is listed below. DO NOT print a copy of this schedule. Google Docs and Word Perfect are not compatible and there is no telling what it may look like. All players will have a schedule given to them by their manager on Tuesday. Pool players can pick up a schedule at the sign in desk. There are games listed as TBD. The Spring Games are back again this year. We are looking at several fields to see where we are going to be playing during the Spring Games. As soon as we know what fields we will be using, a revised schedule will be given to everyone.
All Team players should report to their assigned field on Tuesday. If you don't have your shirts/hat, there will be someone there that will give you your shirts. Home team managers will need to be at the ballpark no later than 8:45 AM to pick up the equipment for their field. All pool players will sign in at the desk and pick up their shirts/hat. There is plenty of room for pool players this year. Every pool player that shows up should be assigned to a team. If you want to leave the pool and join a team, let me know.
