Getting to Know You
Donald LaMay, known by most Don. Don is from the State of Michigan, he and wife Alice (High School Classmate) live in Dundee Fl. Our combined families are 8 Children (4 D - 4 A) Grandchildren (5 D - 6A) and 5 Great-Grandchildren.
Don played in the National League for the Duke's. Two of Don's accomplishments in this League were being elected to the Polk County Senior Softball Hall of Fame in 2020, and playing Senior Softball in this League and on same team with his 2 sons Dan 66 and Steve 56 in 2021.
Don's favorite sports are Baseball, Softball, Golf and Hockey. His favorite Pro Sport players are Joe Louis (Heavyweight Champ) Norm Cash and Mark Fidrych. Don's hobby is Antique Furniture Restoration. His is a Veteran of the U.S. Navy (1952-56). Don retired as an International Harvester (NavaStar) Salesman.
