Guys,
I know everyone is focused on the Golf Tournament but we have several big games coming up on next Wednesday (Mar 26). Yes it's the annual Lakeland Seniors vs. the Winter Haven Seniors All Stars Games. If you signed up to play, you will be assigned to a team. The rosters should be available by Tuesday morning at the ball park but if it's ready before then we'll publish them here. Lakeland is bringing 4 teams and we'll match that with 4 of our own.
Bring your family and friends out to watch and enjoy a post game party of the usual sort. I think Freddy has planned sub sandwiches this time around. We'll have plenty of food and drink for everyone after the games.
Be at the DiamondPlex ball fields NLT 8:30 am Wednesday morning to check in with your team manager (game time is planned to be 9:30).
Winter Haven will wear gray shirts as Lakeland will be in blue shirts. Don't forget your bat and glove, we have balls ... (a little senior humor there)
Also note that we will be playing our first game of spring as usual on Tuesday (Mar 25) at the Winter Haven DiamondPlex fields at the usual time (sign in by 9am, games start at 9:30).
