Here's a recap of a few administrative items.
The first is that the
Enjoyment Book Sales Campaign has begun. The books are $30.00 and are well worth
the money. Not only is it a good deal for you but it generates over 1/3rd of our
revenues for the year. These funds are critical if we want to continue to
do the same things we have done in the past. So please get one for yourself and
one for a friend.
Second is to remind you of the magic date of 29 November
which is the date all registrations must be in if you want to be available for
the draft. That is also the date that you need to have indicated if you want to
be a rostered player or a pool player for the upcoming season. (you should have
already done that on your application). In addition, it is the cut off date for
folks that want to play in a different league from their age group. You must
submit a request to the BOD in writing. Right now the cut off is 69 years
old for the National League but it could change based on total numbers. My
recommendation is if you are one year from that date (up or down) and have a
preference I would submit a request to the BOD.
Third, please update your contact information when you sign in on Tuesdays and/or Fridays. We'd like to make sure our membership roster is up to date.
