Pennsylvania Player Update

Just an update on a couple of our ball players who have been spending their summer in the Keystone State. I'll start with the good news and that is that Les Jacobson hit another one out of the park when he married Heidi on Wednesday. We congratulate them and wish them many years of happiness. Les will be heading down the end of the month.

The second player is Don Keller  He went north to nurse his arm after a great play during the last tournament in the spring. Evidently the damage was more extensive as the doctors determined he had a torn rotary cuff and a torn bicep. The good news on that front is that the rehab and everything is going great. Unfortunately he then developed back problems which turned out to be quite serious. He will undergo surgery on the 23rd and will be about six months on the mend. Our thoughts and prayers are with him for a successful surgery and a quick recovery. Don wanted me to tell you all how much he misses the gang and that he is reading the ISA rule book...cover to cover.. so he can umpire.
