I managed to get by Lakeland General this morning to see George. I was surprised to see him sitting up. His wife was there and apparently the nurses have even had him up and walking about a bit. So that's a bit of good news. He was making lame jokes about the 'plastic' food so you know he's feeling better.
I understand that Sammy is recovering well from his knee surgery so that too is good news.
Meanwhile Nick's managed to reschedule his treatments so he can play once in a while. He played yesterday for the first time in weeks.
Russ also reports that's he's back to about 90% and he's played the last couple of days, even managing a team for us.
