During a brief 'Wayne' delay in today's Lakeland game, we learned that George has been through the wringer and needs your kind thoughts and prayers more than ever.
The MDs thought they were cutting him open for a small tumor and ended up removing his pancreas, spleen and gall bladder. George will likely be in surgical intensive care for several days and then will remain in Lakeland General for some time. George asked that you not call him but he does like visitors. However, when you go to see George he may not be able to see you as he needs his rest. Also 5-7 am or pm is shift change for the nurses and LGH requests that you avoid those times.
George, Get Well Soon, Russ and Wayne need someone around that'll actually listen to them.
