Friday, September 20th

It's that time of year when our northern players are returning, we expand to four teams and two games making the commissioners job of assigning teams more difficult. But he did a fine job as the mixed league game on Field A was tied thru the 5th and 6 innings. The visiting team scored 6 in the top of the open inning for a final of 16-10. Great game.

Over on Field B the managers were Bob Zelazny and Wally. Very well matched thru three innings as Wally was leading 11-10.  Then the Wally team put up back to back goose eggs and 3 in the 6th and 1 in the 7th while Bob Zelazny team posted 3 nickels in a row for a final of 25-15.
