Time to start doing write ups again. We haven't played many games in the last 3-4 week's due to RAIN. You snowbirds can start thinking about heading on down. We had 4 teams today for the first time since probably April. The National league game was very good and ended up with Freddy G's team coming out ahead of Russ King's team 14-12
A great back and forth game. King had the hammer in the bottom of the 9th and the first two batters went down meekly. Then 3 singles in a row and Kenny G stepped up and drilled a sharp blast to left center that everyone thought would get down to tie or win the game. Alas - Willie Morton rushes over and in to snag it about knee high to end the game.
Hitters for both teams.
Gonzalez 4-5 w/hr, Laffoon 2-4, Vining 3-4 w/hr, Morton 2-4, O'Callahan 2-4, Pete 2-4
King 3-5, Chrest 3-5, Hite 2-5, Ken G 2-5, Spitilari 2-5, Learn 4-5, Fabian 4-5, Lopicollo 3-5.
SEE Y'ALL FRIDAY.
