Jeff Simon, Team Manager,of the visiting team , tried to keep up in the early innings.
Barnes team scored in every inning but only batted 7 innings, due to the flip flop rule.
Final score was Barnes-31, Simon-17.
Barnes team hitters were Dean Schapler, Larry Powell, Russ King, Bobby Spitaler-they all went 5 for 5.
Lee Baker was 3-5. Dean had three doubles and one triple, Russ had two home runs.
Simon team was led by Duff Hill-one home run, 3 doubles, Steve Hill -one home run, Bernie Mohan 5-6 , one home run.
Powell was winning pitcher--8 strikeouts
